New at TU Dortmund University? In the weeks before the start of a new semester, you'll find all information for a successful start at our department on this page.
If you need a maths refresher, you can take part in one of the pre courses. There you can also meet your new fellow students.
Another meetup possibility are our regular board game evenings.
The orientation week is before the start of lectures. We wellcome you at TU Dortmund university and, among other things, hold a campus and town rallye for you.
On a weekend at the end of October or beginning of November, there is the traditional first semester excursion.
You find the study advisory, the examination office, as well as information on enrolment at the main page of the department.
From the winter semester 2024/25 we have provided an information booklet for you, which summarizes the most important information about the organization of studies and useful tips for students. You can find a lot of things there, sometimes not every student from higher semesters know about them. So this is definitely worth looking through. You can find the German version of the respective information booklet on the German version of our website.
